Præcis! Det bed jeg også mærke i. "De økonomiske problemer giver mulighed for, at spillere som Monchu, Iñaki Peña eller Ilaix får chancen". Så de ville ikke få chancer før? Et rigtigt Bartomeu-syndrom i klubben. Galactico indkøb og total negligering af La Masia.

Opinion groups, pre-candidates and Jordi Farré have collected the ballots for the motion of no confidence against the current board. They now have 14 working days to collect 16,520 signatures from socios. [ser]

Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalonia's police force) conclude that there is evidence of corruption in the 'Barçagate' scandal after analysing the accusations against Bartomeu's board.

Mossos d'Esquadra confirm that economic crimes could have been committed with personal benefit.

Bartomeu has been accused of corruption by the Catalan police force.They posit that there is substantial evidence of corruption in the BarçaGate case after analysing the accusations against Josep Maria Bartomeu. (El Mundo)

It turns out things have got much more serious, after Football Espana have indicated that the Catalan Police have accused him of corruption.

This is a much bigger deal and the allegations are that he’s made personal financial gains from the club as reported by El Mundo.

This also follows previous allegations that he had arranged to make payments to a third party who were working to ruin the reputations of current and ex players who were outspoken against the regime – Lionel Messi included.

It’s now well known that Lionel Messi wants to leave and that could also be directly related to this if he’s realised that the club is run by incompetent and horrible people – or potentially criminals.

This is expected to drag on but Bartomeu could be in serious trouble here, as being found guilty of corruption will carry a hefty prison sentence at least.

Bartomeu accused of corruption after paying 13 Ventures, the company they hired to monitor club’s social media accounts, €1 million for their services. That is six times higher than market value.

It seems that kind of work is usually put out to a form of tender to get best price. Barcelona paid way over the odds and they believe someone somewhere benefitted either economically or somehow else from the deal.
